About Dr. Zwick

Dr. Zwick is considered an expert in the area of psychological assessment and psychotherapy. She received her B.A. from The University of Colorado, her M.S. from The University of Oregon and her Ph.D. from Northwestern University.

Dr. Zwick practiced in the Chicago area for 20 years where she owned and managed a large practice of 7 psychologists and counselors who consulted to 12,000 students in the Chicago Archdiocesan School system (lower, middle and high schools). In addition, she consulted through the Chaplain’s office to the Chicago Police Department and the FBI helping individuals and families with stress management, conflict resolution and parenting skills. She has designed and managed residential and in-patient treatment programs for adolescents and she has held an adjunct faculty position at Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine in Illinois. She was a consultant to the Issac Ray Center at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center in Chicago contributing to the Forensic Evaluations Program on populations ranging from mentally ill offenders to custody evaluations.

Dr. Zwick is passionate about assessment and she has taught psychological testing at the doctoral level. Psychological assessment continues to be a strong focus of her current work, helping children, adolescents, adults and families identify issues that interfere with academic and social-emotional functioning and translating the results into accommodations for schools, parenting plans or more effective treatment planning. For the past 15 years, Dr. Zwick has operated a vibrant private practice in the Vail Valley of Colorado and served as the consultant to the Vail Mountain School.
